Brief
Bespoke cakes business asked me to create a fancy logo that could help reposition the brand from small and cutesy to professional expert with a specialty in plant-based baking.
Challenges
The client wanted passionately to include illustrated spaniels in line art form within the logo. I crafted digital illustrations of these, but made sure they were secondary to the flowing calligraphy leading the design, which I chose to represent the brand as a classy and sophisticated yet approachable typeface.
